My baby! My baby is turning 1.
Last year at this time you could catch me walking around our neighborhood morning and evening or at the gym at the tredmill if it was too hot out, holding on to a slight hope that maybe my third child will be different than my last two and will actually come a lil early or hopefully on time. But no lil Ava Marley Mae had to be evicted just like Hayley and Elijah. On August 30th she came into our world and made our family complete. And now here soon she will be one and while it's bittersweet because she is most likely our last I can't wait to watch her grow into a even cuter lil toddler.

It's that new baby smell...
Yesterday I went over to my cousin's house to see the new addition to their family. After having three kids you would think a new baby wouldn't phase me but as soon as Jay brought her in my voice went high, I gritted my teeth and took deep breaths of that new baby smell. I just want to squish her she's so cute.
And of course I needed an assistant and luckily I had big sissy to help me out. She has a whirl of poses she wanted to try and I told her next time I will try to oblige with them. After Jay took the wee lil one inside for a yummy bottle I decided big sis needed a few pics of her too.

What is Boudoir Photography?
The word Boudoir came from 18th century France meaning a “woman’s bedroom or a private suite”. Typically boudoir pictures are taking in an intimate setting such as a bedroom, hotel room, or put a twist on it and take it outdoors. Really it’s up to you.
Who should get boudoir pictures done and why?
*They are the PERFECT gift for your significant other. Imagine the surprise on your man’s face when he opens up the box and is expecting his typical-run of the mill birthday/christmas/Father’s day gift and instead has a little black book filled with hot,classy,sexy pictures of the love of his life.
-Also think of your wedding day and a little black book is given to him an hour before the ceremony starts. That wedding march may be the longest moment in his life.
-Bachelorette parties!! Get a hotel room with all your bridesmaids..eat,drink and feel sexy.
*Any woman who wants to feel sexy and empowered should get boudoir pictures done. It captures you in a point in your life and years down the road you can look back and smile and say “Look how smokin I was”.
*To mark any special occasion or goal you set for yourself and achieved. Maybe you lost some weight and want to some pictures done so you can see and appreciate your new body. My name is Kelly Rosenhagen and I am a mother to 3 (Hayley 9, Elijah 4, and Ava 1).
I have been happily married for 10 years to my high school sweetheart, my best friend, my biggest cheerleader, Matthew. My family is my life and my life is my family. They are the reason why I wake up in the morning (literally..they are all early risers). I started to get into photography (like all mothers) shortly after my first was born. Every moment I wanted to capture with a picture. Life goes on and more kids come and life just got busy. I have jumped back into photography with both feet and expanding my repertoire and am loving every.single.minute.of.it!!!
